Tribus - Manual Acrobatics

My gosh!!  Carlos Soto is one busy man.  This is the third release I've received from him in less than a year!  This release seems to be a little more like "Too Late...Damage is Done" than "Mega Shred".  But all of them seem to have a VERY similar feel throughout.  At times I feel like I'm just listening to one of the same songs that were on his previous albums, just slightly different.  I'm sure this is not the case, but with instrumental albums you need to be careful, cause without vocals things can start to run together a little.  My personal opinion would be that Carlos concentrate on just doing one really good album a year instead of 3 average albums.  I mean, they are not horrible, they just don't do much for me.  It would also be nice if he could lean more to the heavier side, cause most of the music here is pretty mellow, especially for metal lovers.

Overall, Carlos is a very talented musician...he just plays a style of music that isn't going to be up most people's alley.  For ordering info e-mail Carlos at:  tribustheband@aol.com  (Review by Matt)
